Evidence of Identification and qualification

 

Name and date of birth

Please submit photocopied evidence of your full name (including any changes to your name) and date of birth - this must be one of the following:

 

·     National ID card copy

·     Birth certificate

·     passport

·     aliens registration certificate

·     driving license.

If you have changed your name please supply one of the following to support your change of name:

·     statutory declaration

·     affidavit.

 

Your qualifications

You will need to provide the required evidence so that we are able to process your application. We cannot obtain this on your behalf.

We may ask for additional documentary evidence after you have submitted your application. Please make sure we receive your evidence in plenty of time before the registration deadline date. Getting your documents verified

What do we mean by verified?

Verification means that your original document has been seen and the photocopy has been sworn (stamped and signed) to be a true copy of the original.

Recognised authorities are not expected to give any value to the qualification on the document. They are only required to verify that the photocopy is a “true copy of the original” presented to them without any alterations or additions.

Note about verified copies

All verified copies must be officially stamped, signed and dated by the named Higher Education Commission or authority. They must also state their full name, job title/position and contact details. We will make spot checks to confirm that this work has been carried out by them.

Verifications should be made on the front of the certificate and not the back.

Translations

If a document/statement is not in English a translation may be required. Translations must be provided by either:

·     an official at an embassy or,

·     consulate or,

·     a recognised translator.

An embossed stamp or similar mark of authority must be on the translation.

Please check with the Student Advice Centre to see if a translation is required - some languages may not require this.

All translated documents must be accompanied by full details of:

·     translator’s name

·     postal address

·     email address

·     telephone number.

We will make spot checks to confirm that this work has been carried out by the named authority.
